when you graduate - Maria Rico

Students who fail to graduate can still do so by passing the GED. GED stands for General Education Diploma. It is for those that failed to get a High School Diploma. Whether it was because they dropped out of high school or something happened to where they couldn't graduate. Students who were not able to attain a high school diploma in the past now have the ability to graduate from an accredited institution. With programs offered today, students are now able to learn at their own pace and attain the high school diploma they desire.
Right now, if you do not have your diploma, you aren’t going anywhere. Without your diploma, you are stuck in minimum wage jobs.
With fewer high school drop outs, we will have fewer people on the streets, fewer people in minimum wage dead end jobs, etc.
Those who don't care enough now, will definitely care in the near future. This approach takes students off the scrap heap of the education system, restores their self-esteem, gives them goals, hope, training, and in most cases, a job.
For the majority of students, it is not difficult to graduate from high school. But, for children with learning disabilities, a high school diploma is far more difficult to earn and therefore students move on to either a GED or no graduate certificate at all. This generally puts those embarking on life outside of school in a position where options are few and far between.
Today it's almost mandatory for you to have at least one year of college to get a job, otherwise nobody will hire you.
