The year is soon coming to an end. Unfortunately this is The Rampage’s last issue for the year. It seems like only yesterday when the first issue of was released. The Rampage’s success this year was well beyond my expectations. I am proud to be a part of that success. Our newspaper staff has worked so hard to produce a newspaper that appealed to the student body. Some of our journalists have been noticed by other newspapers for their writing. For an example, AJ Clark, Sam Spagnola, and Jon Nelson.  Mrs. Spagnola and Mrs. L. Liverio have also worked very hard to make the Rampage the success that it is today.

It is now the fourth quarter which means a lot of exciting events are about to take place. For example, for freshman it is the thought that they will no longer be  “fresh meat”, for sophomores it is that they will now be juniors, and for the juniors they will finally be seniors. Also events such as junior prom and senior ball are also both days to look forward to.

For seniors graduation is just around the corner. The thought of where to go after high school is dwelling in most senior’s mind. Many of our seniors will be enrolled in 2 or 4 year colleges. Fulton-Montgomery Community College is one of the colleges that some of the seniors will attend next year. For example, Dani Surento will go to FMCC and then transfer to another college such as Pace University. Along with FMCC some of our seniors will attend colleges far away from Amsterdam. For an example, Ashli Ottati is attending FIDM in California, and as we all know Guseppi Lanzi will be attending Brown University, Sarah Bellardini will be attending Boston University, Kelsey Heck will be attending Springfeild in Masscheuchetts, Adam Mahelik and Nicole Heck will be attending Sienna College, Ashley Poulin will be attending SUNY Oneonta and Austin Poulin will be attending SUNY Plattsburgh. Anna Dyakiv will be enrolling in Nichols College and Katie Wright will be attending Worcester Polytechnic Institution both in Massachusetts. Taylor Brown will be attending Ithaca College, Allie Zabo will be enrolling in Lemoyne College in Syracuse, Tyler Morrone will attend Manhattan College and Ashley Santiago will enroll in Pace University which are both in New York City, Megan DePasquale will be attending SUNY Potsdam, AJ Clark will be attending SUNY Oneonta, and Sam McNeil will be attending Hartwick College which are both located Oneonta.  Chelsey Crosby and Jaspreet Kaur will both be attending Syracuse University.  Jaspreet is majoring in Biomedical Engineering.  Hillary Rouse will be enrolling in Emmanuel College, Priyanka Singh will be attending Hofstra University.  Freya Smith will be participating in the Ellis Hospital’s nursing program, Emily Greco is attending Quinnipiac University, Nicole Agosta will be attending Alfred University, Brittany Arnold will be attending Cazenovia College, Casey Fastel will be attending Elmira College, Ricky Russel will be attending Purchase College, Katherine Lamonto will be attending SUNY Postdam. As you can see, many of our seniors will be attending great colleges. This is not a list of every senior, but I just wanted to show the different places some seniors are going next year.  As for me, I will be attending Syracuse University. I will be majoring in Political Science.

I would like to thank  the reader’s again for supporting the Rampage. This is my last editorial for the paper. I am very proud to be one of the editor-in-chiefs of this paper. I hope for only more success for this paper next year.
