Fresh egg pasta and alfredo - Staff
This month, Katie shows us how to make fresh egg pasta from scratch.
"Fresh Egg Pasta" Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup Semolina flour
1 cup all purpose flour
3 eggs
2 T olive oil
Directions:
1. Clean off work surface
2. Combine the two types of flour
3. Sift the flour onto the work surface
4. Shape flour into a well
5. Add eggs into center of well
6. Use fork to mix eggs with flour
7. Knead (8-10 minutes)
8. Let dough sit (45 minutes)
9. Roll out dough (1/8 inch thick)
10. Cut dough to desired shape
