Time is such a valuable thing. Every person uses their time differently, whether it be doing school work, working at the office, spending time with family, or by wasting it by playing video games. For some it may seem like there aren't enough hours in the day, and for others it may seem like the day never ends. However, time is very limited for volleyball coaches, Mrs. Anderson and Ms. Lee. Both of these young ladies have a full schedule from the time they wake up in the morning until they go to sleep.

Mrs. Anderson teaches six P. E classes and an advisory every day. As soon as school is out, she helps students with any questions or concerns they may have and then races off to the Marshall White Center where she dedicates an hour and a half of her own time to coach the volleyball team. Mrs. Anderson doesn't stop there, on top of having a full time job, coaching the DaVinci volleyball team, she also goes to school. She is going to Weber State University, full time, to finish getting her teaching license. She is doing her student teaching and senior project, along with earning 12 credits. “I go to school one night a week, Wednesday, 5:00 pm- 7:30 p.m.,” Mrs. Anderson stated. Spare time is very valuable to Mrs. Anderson, “I love to play any sport, hang out with my husband, and spend time with my family in the spare time I have, which isn’t very much,” She replied when asked how she spent her spare time.

Ms. Lee is in the same position as Mrs. Anderson. She teaches six math classes as well as an advisory. Almost every Wednesday, Ms. Lee coaches the girls’ volleyball team by herself, giving Mrs. Anderson the day to catch up on her school work. “I love volleyball and I am happy to help coach” When Ms. Lee isn’t busy grading math papers and tests, she enjoys spending her spare time hiking and of course, playing volleyball.

"I LOVE COACHING volleyball! Volleyball is my passion, and coaching is the most rewarding job. I love our team, and all the girls that play. The team works so hard everyday, and I respect that so much about them. Every time our team walks into the gym they give their all and I am so impressed with everyone's improvements." Mrs. Anderson said. Depending how you spend your'e time, it's usually worth it in the end.
