In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, players, coaches, and referees are wearing pink clothing in support of this important event. Clothing includes wristbands, hats, pink shoes and socks, and towels. On-field pink ribbon stencils, special game balls, and pink coins.
Players here at Anna Middle School have also taken action to support breast cancer. Gage Scribner will be wearing his pink wristband, and Jarrett Keeton will be wearing his pink laces as well as his pink socks in support of those who were diagnosed. The players will also have pink armbands to support the cause.
People all over are running in races, or participating in walks to support those close to them that have been through it all.
My grandma was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004. She had a hard time, but she knew that she had others there to support her, and that she was not alone, that there were others out there going through the same things that she was. She is a survivor and living life to the fullest.
N'Yatti Davis' cousin's grandma was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. It was a tough time, but she is one of many lucky women who have been blessed to survive this life changing experience.
This October, let other people know that you are there for them and support the cause of breast cancer and go PINK!!
