Two new foreign faces have been noticed on campus. Andro Babic and Karol Sarapatka are foreign exchange students from Croatia and Czech Republic.
They are staying with Mr. Marque Thomas in Hot Springs Village. They like it there; they said so far there are no conflicts and they have experienced good food.
They like the school system so far, but it is very different from their school system back home. They said they like it because it’s easy, but it’s bad because kids don’t have to think, too easy. Much easier, in Europe you can’t choose your subjects and here you can.
Babic said he is finding that our students are very welcoming and have made many friends.
They were asked how they like American food and they said it wasvVery healthy and greasy, but it tastes good.
People might wonder how they stay in contact with family and friends from home. They contact them through Skype and email.
They are taking advantage of learning about the area. They have been to Silver Dollar City and Six Flags which they both said they liked.
They were asked what they missed the most about home and of course they said family and friends”
Many people have wondered if Babic and Sarapatka are related, but no they are not. They met on the way here.
