At the young age of 14, Chance pushes the boundaries of "tween pop" without passing into Celine Dion territory. Chance’s writing skills shine brightly in the album’s first track and single, “Waiting Outside the Lines,” with a message of self-freedom.  The album’s second single, “Unfriend You,” is an upbeat song about the fickleness of young love. On the next track, “Home is in Your Eyes,” the beat slows down and reminds listeners of world-revolving feeling of young love.  Chance’s song “Summertrain” is a breath of fresh air after the ups and downs that are typical of teen love in “Heart like Stone,” “Little London Girl,” and “Cheyenne.”  By the end of the CD, Chance has taken listeners through the up and downhill rushes of teen life.
