Alyssa T. and Katlyn E. gave a brief overview of their favorite classes and teachers this year at Dobie Jr. High. Seventh graders at Dobie made course selections just before holiday break, and incoming sixth graders will be making those same choices very soon.
    “My favorite class is theatre”, Kaytlyn E. said.
    Kaytlyn E’s favorite class, theatre, has been offered at Dobie for four years. They performed a play called Peter Pan. In December, the students choreographed a dance routine to famous Christmas music pieces.
    “My favorite class is science”, Alyssa T. said.
    There are five seventh grade science teachers, and five are eighth grade science teachers. Two are both seventh and eighth grade teachers. A new club offered at Dobie, this year, is called the Science Club and the advisor for it is Mr. Olson. 
    “Mrs. A [Ms. Adkison- theater] is my favorite teacher”, Kaytlyn E. said.
