There is a lot of local talent here in Anna. One local talent here is music. Anna has a few local rock bands. There are some bands that are small and unknown by a lot of people. There are other bands that have a larger name here in Anna.

            One of the smaller bands is group called Mevicorde. The band is made up of 3 eighth graders and 1 freshman in high school. There is Joe, Adam, Porferio, and Tyler. The genre of music that they play is kind of an alternative rock. “I think that they play pretty well,” said Kyle Moore.

            A larger name here in Anna is Sleep With Despair. The group plays more of a heavy metal kind of genre. The band has played in a few different places. One of the places is The Door, a small place in Plano. The band makes their own music. One of their songs is Mirrors. Joe hunt is the lead guitarist, Alex Sanchez is the rhythm guitarist, Dylan is the singer, Zack Esch is the bass player, and Dustin Bowen is the drummer. “I like Rocking with the band,” said Joe Hunt. “They are definitely an 8.5 on a scale of 1-10,” said Braedon Davis.
