the registration process for next year’s
classes started today in ad-room, as freshman-
sophomore students received their
course books and registration sheets for the
2012-13 school year.
On Friday, those registration sheets will
be turned back in to ad-room teachers to be
checked over by the counselors.
Next year’s offerings include at least two
new classes—Sports and Fitness 101 for people
who aren’t very enthusiastic about sports, and
Strength Training III for students who want
to get even stronger. In addition, there are two
new CTE courses, Intro to Technology and
Computer Support, and Advanced Computer
Support and Networking.
Counselor Jacob McDonald stressed the
importance of registering on time.
“It’s really important to register on time,
because if students wait until the last minute,
the classes they want tend to be full,” McDonald
said. “If students are thinking about an AP class,
or don’t know which math or science class to
take, they should talk to their core teacher.”
