Music effects a teen’s perception on the world.The youth today are so much differnt than the youth fifteen years ago. In those days, kids listened to bands such as Nirvana Primus, Sonic Youth, and the Melvin’s Etc.Today, were smothered with the likes of Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. I believe these artists are poisioning the minds of kids, making slaves to the American consumer culture. When bands of the 90's, who did not follow the rules and regulations, went out of their way to let people know of such corruption they were informing our youth. There are a group of bands like No Ca$h, Stupid Stupid Henchmen, Mad Conductor and Leftover Crack that do business in a different fashion. Those bands talk about subjects that are very sensitve to your typical conservative mind types.  In conclusion, I strongly believe that there will never be a good era of music again and it will always be controlled by money and our government.
