Today in Music: Black Veil Brides
Many teenagers relate to Black Veil Brides' lyrics. -

As a rebellious teenager, I enjoy music that other people might think is just noise without a meaning. As for me, the music I listen to means the world. My favorite band is Black Veil Brides because, instead of just making meaningless music, they make sure that the music has a meaning and can touch someone in one way or another.

The members of the band are as follows: lead singer Andy Biersack, lead guitarist Jake Pitts, guitarist Jeremy ‘Jinxx’ Ferguson, bass Ashley Purdy, and drums Christian ‘C.C.’ Coma. Each and every one of the members play/sing their heart out in every song and have a great time while doing it. They have recently come out with a new song they named “Coffin” and covers of “Unholy” by KISS and “Rebel Yell” by Billy Idol. They put a new spin on old-time rock–and-roll songs.

The Black Veil Brides also have amazing dedication to their fans. Just ask Andy Biersack. After falling from a pillar, slamming into the stage, and shattering three ribs, he still got up, dusted off, and sang his heart out for the fans. Then, not too long after that incident, he broke his nose on an amp.

Many fans have said that Black Veil Brides have helped them through so much and have even prevented them from killing themselves just from listening to the music and understanding the lyrics. Fans in bad situations can turn their speakers up and let their worries drift away with the guitar shredding and gnarly drums. Many fans have left comments on the band’s music videos saying, “You’ve helped me through so much,” “You taught me to never give in,” and “You taught me how to embrace who I am.”

All the members work their hearts out for their fans and there is never a dull moment. Biersack makes sure to mention how great the fans are to the band and the ‘BVB Army’ during every interview. He always reminds everyone to be who you want to be and to never give in no matter how tough times get.
