Imagine a classroom full of laptops instead of textbooks. Which one would you think is more beneficial? Laptops and textbooks are both beneficial. But to students laptops seem to be more reliable.       For the majority of students the statement, ‘’students should use laptops instead of textbooks’’ is not hard to disagree with.
 
Chandler Park Academy 12^th grade student Natalia Calhoun stated, "Laptops are better than textbooks because of mobility and they are more current.’’ Most students like laptops instead of textbooks because there are more functional to them. Teens feel that laptops are more beneficial over textbooks because it has more up to date information. Also, laptops help you to get things done a lot faster.

    Chandler Park Academy 12^th grade student Markisha Holmes, thinks that”10^th-12^th grade students should be the only individuals to use laptops."  Some reasons why were that students tend to be more mature and responsible as they move up in grades.  

     On the other hand some may feel textbooks are more beneficial than laptops. Teacher Ms. West-Morton is one that feels this way. She agreed that laptops would be more useful than textbooks when having research papers. There are many different opinions regarding which are more beneficial laptops vs. textbooks.

   One question everyone wants to know is why do most students like laptops instead of textbooks? Ms. Holmes feels that laptops help students get things done a lot easier. Also, it helps you get things done faster. Since the only thing that gets carried around is textbooks, maybe laptops should be taken into consideration to have instead of textbooks.
