Q. Are plays something that are new to you?
A. No, they’re not. I’ve done two shows at Landers Theatre. I’ve been a wolf in “Narnia,” and Subar-tu the Hun in “Mulan.”
Q. Why did you decide to audition this year?
A. It’s my senior year, and the show looked like it would be a lot of fun to do. I just felt like trying out.
Q. Do you think you will continue to do musicals or plays?
A. I plan to continue acting through college, and hopefully in my career and as a side hobby. I wouldn’t turn down Broadway.
Q. What’s your favorite thing about acting?
A. It’s a lot of fun, just performing for people. Acting is all about lying, because you are pretending to be someone else.
Q. What’s the most difficult thing about being in the musical?
A. I would say the most difficult part of the production would be memorizing the choreography.
Q. What advice would you give others wanting to audition for school plays?
A. Just be very confident. You can’t doubt yourself. You can see when someone is scared when they’re auditioning.
