During Christmas time, we all develop a feeling of anxiety.  It could be the good kind that makes you happy and anxious to open the gifts you get.  Or it could be the anxiety that makes you question yourself twice about the gifts you bought that year.

The release of "The Flash" is like my Christmas.

Two kinds of anxiety tear me apart.  One kind makes me feel eager to see the pages in print but the other kind makes me slightly nauseated.  Is there too many designs on one page?  Is the size of the title font too big?  Will this picture fit here?  Do we need more pictures?  Are there are enough quotes?

Second guessing is not healthy but it happens anyway.   Yet, no matter how much you wonder if you could have done something better, the operative word being could, you can't.  What's done is done.

This release of the Flash brings all of Rocklin together.  Literally.  Our theme for this issue is about the connections we share with others and how tied together we all are.

This issue goes beyond the surface of what we see.  Our staff went deeper and found connections that all had one thing in common: RHS.

There are stories that describe the life and connection of the Thunder babies of Rocklin.  From the Arinos to the Douglases, you delve into the parent child connection.

This issue also includes stories about freshman and senior connections, such as Thunder Mentoring and how much an impact the upperclassmen have had on the incoming 'newbies'.  There are stories ranging from the Benzels love story to Rocklin and Whitney ties to 6 degrees of not so random connections.

This issue will certainly surprise you with connections you never really knew.  Here at Rocklin we look quite divided amongst our groups.  Now, don't get me wrong, we certainly are the typical suburban school with cliques everywhere, but if you look beyond what is coined the term, 'status quo', we all are connected.  We are tied together through clubs, classes, or quite random meets.  But, nonetheless, we are, in a way, all united.
