With high school graduation just around the corner and adult life looming in their futures, WCHS seniors answer the question, “What’s next?”
Ashley Piercy: “I plan to go to Lindsey Wilson or SCC. I’m planning to major in Biology or English Education – not sure yet. When I get out of college, I’d like to teach middle school.”
Paige Burleson: “I am going to the University of Mobile, in Alabama, where I want to get a degree in Exotic Animal Veterinary Medicine. I am currently taking a class in advanced animal science that is helping to prepare me or that field.”
Travis Pace: “I plan to go straight into the work force. I will probably try to work in manufacturing, maybe at Cobb or Equity Group.”
Nicky Melendez: “My plan is to attend Northern Kentucky University and get a degree in Visual Arts and Photography.”
Gavin Dunagan: “I am planning to go to Transylvania University. I’m not sure what I want to do career wise yet, but I am planning to major is Ag Business.”
Jeremiah Stringer: “I’m going to Western Kentucky University, and I want to get a degree in Mathematics Education and eventually teach high school.”
