Students buy prom tickets during morning break -
With the 2011 prom just days away, juniors and seniors are preparing for the big event.
From purchasing tickets and signing up for pictures, to making hair appointments and dinner reservations, it is a busy time for WCHS students.
In addition to being busy, prom season is also an exciting time for students according to seniors, Hailey Rose and Roger Brumley.
“We are excited. We have really put a lot of thought into making it a special night,” Rose says.
The theme for this year’s prom, which will be held at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset, on Saturday, April 30, is Masquerade. The prom hours will be from 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Students can continue to purchase tickets until Friday at the cafeteria picnic tables between 2nd and 3rd blocks. The price for tickets is $25 for individuals and $45 for couples. Students can also continue to sign up for prom pictures before school or between classes in Mrs. McFall’s room.
