The Indianola boys varsity basketball team played Urbandale on Jan.10. The

game aired on TV. Mediacom ran the Indianola vs. Urbandale game on Thursday, Jan 12.

             “It was a good opportunity to represent Indianola. The student section was there,

cheering on the team so it made for a memorable game,” said manager Coltyn Hunter.

            Unfortunately, Urbandale beat Indianola 75-41.

            “As a team we didn’t feel we did our best,” said senior Austin Knoop.

             “They are keeping their heads held high,” said Hunter.

            Indianola did, however, have the lead scorer, senior Kale Render, with 20 points.

            “It was nice to be the lead scorer, but it would have been nicer if the team had

won,” said Render. “It felt good having someone film you and your team.”

            The team is 2-11, with wins against Ames and East.
